Steph,

most home pregnancy tests are valid as of the day that your period is due, so you are probably testing too soon. Wait until your period is due, then test again. That will give you a more accurate test result. Good luck!

Jennifer,

it sounds like your period is just very late this month, but that you are not pregnant. If you don't get your period soon, your doctor might be able to give you a medication that will bring it on so you can start trying again next month. Your doctor will be the best person to talk to about this.

I am due to have my period in 3 days. I have been feeling tired, and my boobs are unusually bigger/heavier. I have cramping on my pelvic region and my lower back hurts. My husband and I are trying to have a baby. I just took a home pregnancy test awhile ago and the result was negative. It started with a faint positive line but I didn't want to jump into any conclusions since the same thing happend to me last month and I was not pregnant. So I left it and the line disappeared after an hour or so. Could I still be pregnant?

I have had 2 blood tests which have came back negative, and a bunch of home test which have all came back negative. I'm 16 days late. I don't know what I should do. Something has to be going on!

Jennifer,

have you told your doctor's office that you are late? They might want to do a Blood-based Pregnancy Test, which can give more accurate results than a test at home. But after nine days, any home pregnancy test should be able to give you an accurate result.

Well now I am 9 days late. I have been having really weird and vivid dreams, headaches, backaches, when I have a bowel movement it is pellets (like with my other pregnancies), my areola's are gettin darker, and my boobs are getting havier. I even had some dried up stuff on my nipples last night that looked like milk. I still haven't gotten a postive on any test. But I do remember it taking longer on my youngest daughter to show up positive. What do you think now? What should I do?

A nurse from my OB's doctor office said that its not uncommon for a woman to miss periods as they age, but I'm only 23 years old. What should I do?

Jennifer,

as I've mentioned before, the signs you mentioned can be a symptoms of pregnancy, but they are also easily confused with a mid-cycle spotting and an upcoming period. Since your period is due tomorrow, that's the best time to take a pregnancy test.

I am wanting to know if I could be pregnant. My boobs have been hurting alot lately, and I'm going to the bathroom more and more often. I've gotten headaches for the past 3 days (I think). When I have a bowel movement its just little pelets (I guess), which is what I had with my previous pregnancies. I had my period in February, which was on the 14th (8 days late). It lasted for about 4-5 days. My hubby and I had intercourse on the 25th of Feb. Usually his "man juice" just comes out of me, but this time it didn't. Then about 2 days later I had some light brown discharge and it went on for at least a day. I have taken home pregnancy tests, but all of them have came back negative. I'm convinced that I am pregnant. But, I want to know what you think! I need some real honest opinions here! Thank you!
