AS,
if you had a period since you missed your pills, you're probably not pregnant, although the bleeding might have been irregular spotting. The symptoms you mention can be some of the signs of pregnancy, but they can also be due to the change in hormone levels from missing the pills. Wait until your next period is due then take a home pregnancy test.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonI've recently been feeling different.I've been urinating frequently, ive been have weird stomach pains but not severe, ive been feeling more tired then usual,Ive been much more hungry during the day and night. I also just have this feeling that I am. I do take birth control, but a couple weeks ago i missed the pills for about 3 or 4 days and had sex during that time and was on my period since I missed them.Could I be pregnant?
-- Contributed by: ASMoi,
since you've been off the pill for two years without conceiving, it's time to see your doctor for fertility testing. Most couples will conceive within a year of trying, so you should be examined to see if there is a medical reason for not conceiving.
On another note, it's too early to test if you just ovulated a few days ago. Wait until your period is due, but if it's still negative, give your doctor a call.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansoni ve been off the pill for 2 years and no baby yet. my last intercourse was between 6-9th september ( Ovulation) its only 13th today but i am anxious. my husband's second wife is already pregnant 2 months after they got married.i acyuattl went an tested with a home test kit on the 10th but it was neg. will i ever get pregnant??

it's possible that you ovulated and conceived later, so it might still be too early to get a positive pregnancy test. But, you might also not be pregnant and just be having an irregular cycle. Wait a few days and test again, then follow up with your doctor.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonI am over a week late, 2 weeks b4 my period was due i had light spotting. I took a test 3 days after i should have started my period and it was negative. I am so confused and don't know what to do next.

there are many different early signs of pregnancy, but both weight gain and back pain can be two of them. If you haven't already done so, you should take a pregnancy test and follow up with your doctor if it's positive.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonokay i been having bad back pain and a month ago my stomach was somewhat flat now its just big and i don't even eat alot could that be a sign of pregnacy?

Do you know if you are pregnant? Shortness of breath isn't really an early sign of pregnancy, though a women may have this later in a pregnancy after the belly has grown and she has gained weight. If the shortness of breath is a sudden development or becomes bothersome, you should contact your doctor to make sure there isn't some other health condition that needs to be addressed.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonI am feeling very tired especially when i walk for a short distance or go up the stairs and mostly in the morning. I am also feeling like panting at the sametime feeling short of breath(in)when i go up a small hill. Could this be a complicated issue? or just one of early pregnacy signs?Kindly advise
-- Contributed by: CeciliaRdahi, most women don't start noticing the early signs of pregnancy until their period is late, but it is possible to start having symptoms earlier. Since you are close to your expected period, you can take the First Response Early Result Pregnancy Test, which is accurate four days before your period is due.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonStill 5 days are there for my periods. But i am feeling dizziness, moody, frequent urination, feeling like having periods soon, am i pregnant?

since your girlfriend went to a doctor who tested her for pregnancy, she is definitely pregnant. Did the doctor do a Blood-based Pregnancy Test? These can often give a good idea of how far along the pregnancy is. Even when a woman missed a period, she'll still ovulate at some point, so even though she missed a period in January, it's still reasonable for her to conceive in February.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonHolly, My ex girlfriend is almost 100% sure she is pregnant, unfortunatley, there is an underlying issue. Normally, her periods start around the 26th of every month. According to her, she cannot remember having a period in Jan or Feb. She claims to have went to the doctor, having the doctor tell her she is between 6-8 weeks (urine test was the way tested for pregnancy on her, no Ultra Sound). Also, last week she just started mentioning how her breasts were tender and complaining of nausea. Is there any answers you can provide to me about this situation? Please email me the answers to bizmarcus07@yahoo.com.
-- Contributed by: MarcusKaren, since your daughter's period is now late, she should take another pregnancy test now. It's possible she was testing too early before.
The symptoms you mention can be some of the early signs of pregnancy, but they could also be related to PMS or changes in her cycle. If the symptoms continue, she should see her doctor.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonMy daughter had a early period that was very light and only lasted 2 days.It was pinkish brown and never filled a pad.I happened 4 days before her period was due on 7/18/08. She has taken a couple of test. They were negative. But I'm concerned because her breast have increased in size so much that she needs a bigger bra size and she has gained some weight and is hungary all the time.
-- Contributed by: karenRianna, if you have symptoms but got your period, you are probably not pregnant, though sometimes Pregnancy Bleeding can be confused with a period. To know for sure, you should take a pregnancy test.
If you are not pregnant, you should continue taking your pill regularly but should consider using a back-up form of birth control until you can be sure that your period is back on track.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonwhat if...you are on birth control...miss a day...dont use protection and now you have ALL the early signs except a missed period...??
-- Contributed by: RiannaAyuni, since your period was due July 9, you should have ovulated around June 25, making it too early for you to have conceived from having sex on July 6. But, if you ovulated early or have an irregular period, it's possible.
Since your period is now a few days late, you can take a pregnancy test and get accurate results.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansoni had sex on july 6, my period was due on the 9th... and now i am 5 days late for my period.. could i be pregnant?
-- Contributed by: ayuniShalini, usually, the earlies sign of pregnancy is a late period. If you just finished bleeding from your miscarriage, it's probably too early to be testing since you likely haven't even ovulated yet.
Most doctors will want you to wait a few months after a miscarriage before you start trying to conceive. This is a good chance to let your body heal and get back on track. Conceiving again too soon can cause a lot of stress to your body. Please talk to your doctor about when he or she thinks you should start trying.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonI was 3 months pregnant and i had a miscarriage 3 weeks ago i had a clean out if that what they call it.I bleed 2-3 days after that i started trying again for two weeks in a row.Is it possible that i could or be pregnant?.What is the earliest signs i can look for.I did take a few pregnancy tests, some were negatives and some show very faint line of positive, but i dont no if its from the old pregnancy.plz help me.shalini
-- Contributed by: shaliniCassie, if you conceived four days ago, it's really too early for you to be having symptoms. You aren't fertile until you ovulate, which happens 2 weeks after your period, so it's highly unlikely that you are pregnant.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonMy boyfriend and I have been fooling around for a month, I thought at first I might have been pregnant but I got my period. The day after my period we fooled around again, this time I was wearing my underwear, he made it in, I am not sure if anything else did. It has been four days since then. I have been feeling sick, dizzy, my nipples are a little darker and I am starting to feel tender breasts. Could I be pregnant?
-- Contributed by: CassieBelle,
you could be pregnant, and the bleeding you had on the 13th might have been implantation bleeding rather than a period. Since you are already late for a January period, you should take another pregnancy test. False negatives are rare but they do happen, so try again.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonhi my husband and i are trying to have a baby i got my period last month i dunno if thats really,i supposed to have my period on 17th but 13th i bleed after 2 days stop till now i havent get my period yet, when january comes i feel so uneasy,i always feel tired,my breast were soring,i started vomiting 7th january i use HPT but negative, could i be pregnant?
-- Contributed by: belleMya,
unless some of the semen made it into your vagina, you're not pregnant. What was the result of the pregnancy test you took?
There are plenty of reasons why a period can be late...stress is a big factor, and if you're anxious for your period that could do it. Try taking another test in a few days if you still get your period.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonmy boy friend and I have been having sex for about a month now. we always use condoms. but one night he pulled out when he ejaculated but I felt semen sliding down my buttocks. lately, I've been feeling funny and my period is 3 days late. could I be pregnant? I took a home test but I don't think it was correct. I have been having signs of my period like breast tenderness, but there is no period.
-- Contributed by: mya jamesonAbigail, depending on your cycle and when you ovulate, you could get pregnant during your period. It's unusual, but it has happened.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonme and my significant other had sex even if its my third day of meanstruation and he even blast it in... is there a possibilities that i could be pregnant?
-- Contributed by: abigailCurios,
some people bleed during sex, which could be from tearing or not enough lubrication. This doesn't sound pregnancy related, but she should talk to her doctor.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonwe have sex even shes been delayed for 2weeks, but during our sex, it goes out some blood on her vagina..and after that it stops after 1hour. what does it mean!?pls. helped to answe
-- Contributed by: curiosA plus sign means pregnant, no matter how faint it is. The bleeding may be pregnancy-related. Have you had other signs that you might be pregnant?
If you're unsure of the results, take another test or give your OB/GYN a call.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonHi i took a test and the sign came up a faint plus sign but i have my period. what does that mean?
