Chlomid, usually, Clomid is only given to women who are having difficulty conceiving. Did your doctor have a reason to suspect you had a fertility problem?
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonI have a ten year old with multiple disabilities. I was prescribed Chlomid, which is a category X drug. I was already pregnant, but the urine test was negative. The 2nd appointment I was pregnant. I feel positive the Chlomid caused this. My 2nd child - I got pregnant 5 weeks after delivering the first child. Why did I need the Chlomid in the first place.
-- Contributed by: Chlomid taken while already pregnantHeather,
I can't really offer any specific drug recommendations, but your doctor should be able to find a suitable treatment option for you. Pregnancy, especially in the later months, is very stressful, especially for someone with anxiety issues so you should probably be on some medication. I know women who took anxiety medicine during pregnancy and it had no known effect on the baby. Good luck.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonI have been battling Anxiety for years and now that I am pregnant am not sure how to proceed. I have been looking into benzodizapines but am unsure on some of them. I have found one to be a Class C drug & am wondering your opinion on that. I also have been trying to find other medication options but so far have not been very successful. Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you!
-- Contributed by: HeatherHi Stacy, you're right to be concerned about taking lexapro, but only your doctor can really help you with this. You'll need to consider your need for the medication and compare that to any potential risks to a pregnancy.
Sorry I can't be more helpful, but your physician is the best person to talk to about this.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonI'm planning on getting pregnant I'm only on Lexapro but I'm concerned with the the fact that it is a class C med. My main concern is the possible withdrawl the baby would go through. I couldn't deal with bringing a baby into the world with posiable problems. Do you have any comparable meds to stay on during pregnancy. Also how do I find your reply to my question Stampone@optonline.net Thank you Stacy
-- Contributed by: StacyI'm planning on getting pregnant but the only medication I'm on now is Lexapro. Can you tell me a medication that will be safer/ compatible in class A or B. I'm concerned with the after effects to the baby. I hear so much that the baby can go through withdrawals. I couldn't live with thought of bringing a child into the world with problems.
Any help would be appreciated

-- Contributed by: sam garnerHi Sam, I don't want to disagree with what a medical practitioner told you or upset you, but drugs.com says that Zoladex should not be used during pregnancy. The FDA agrees with this statement. You should speak to your OB/GYN about this immediately. If he or she doesn't seem concerned, make an appointment with another doctor.
Your baby could be okay, but you will need to monitored closer during your pregnancy.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonI have had a zoladex implant put in when 3 weeks pregnant and been advised it is totally ok just seen its a category x drug whos right?
