I tried the ring on a sting and it worked for me when I was pregnant with my sone last year. So it could be true.

Bro, this is really just a myth that many people have different results with. I suspect if you held the ring over a man's belly, it would either move in a circle or side to side based simply on the person's hand motion or air moving. It's fun to do, but doesn't have any proof.

1st time, I've seen some old wives tales about twins. Try searching for "old wives tales" and "twins." Good luck

Is there any old wives tales about having twins?

Danielle, you have a 50/50 chance of having whichever gender is expected based on old wives tales, so it's hard to say. Another woman could have done the same thing but conceive a girl.

i read an old wives tale that if you have sex a certin way you will concive a boy...i`m having a boy and i had sex that way...is it a coinsadence?

Desiree, although your daughter might like the idea of having a little brother or sister, there's no reason to think that by looking between your legs, she is looking for a baby. Most children don't have any concept at this age of where babies come from, so it sounds like a tale to me.

an old wives i was told over th weekend was if a toddler looks between their legs, he or she is calling for a brother or sister. My boyfriends little girl is 2 and she kept on looking between her legs and my dad and grandmother informed us of that...

I don't know about a cat, but I had a dog that could detect my migraines and fainting spells. He would push me toward a chair and then when I sat he would sit on me. He weighed about 75 lbs, so I couldn't move.

Stacey, I'd have to say no, but this gets into an area of psychic intuition that I'm not going to debate. Who am I to doubt the powers of a cat? In general, I think this is a myth.

I have heard many times that a cat can sense when there is something wrong with your unborn baby. That if there is something wrong with the baby a cat will not go anywhere near you or your stomach. Does this have any truth to at?

LaQuitta, nope, not true. Unless you were washing your hair with some kind of toxic chemical, you have nothing to worry about.

My grandmother says that washing you hair too soon after birth causes seizures. Is this anywhere close to true?
