Steven, it shouldn't have any influence, unless a man has low sperm count. Then, it's possible that masturbating within about a day of intercourse could lower the count even more. Some doctors recommend that when a couple is trying to conceive, the man should abstain for a day or two in advance.

Past masturbation doesn't have any effect at all on trying to conceive.

Babu, masturbation shouldn't have much of an effect, but if it is a lot and you do it right before you are trying to conceive, it could deplete your resources. It's best if you can hold off for the time being.
