I agree with you. Although there is a lot of conflicting advice on Imitrex use and miscarriage, I think most women are better off not taking medication if they can avoid it, both while trying to conceive and during pregnancy. If you still don't have a successful conception in a few months, ask your doctor if you and your partner should be tested for fertility problems.

I have had two first trimester miscarriages, and both times I had taken Imitrex in pill form before I realized I was pregnant. I've stopped taking it entirely since I'm trying to get pregnant, and there is no conclusive evidence for Imitrex affecting miscarraige one way or the other. I'm not ruling out other issues, but I see not taking it as doing everything I can to avoid another miscarriage.

I have had 2 second trimester spontaneous abortions after being given imitrex injections in the emergency room for migraines. I am currently pregnant, am further along than any of the other two, and have not had any issues. I will update later to see how everything turns out.
