There is so much information out there on this it used to do my head in until I found a-gender online when I googled gender swaying, they have a natural unique approach to gender swaying which seems to work as they have an online forum where members discuss their success, you should check it out the ladies seem really helpful.

without having a regular cycle, it will be difficult to time your intercourse for before ovulation. You can use ovulation predictor kits, but those often will only tell you 24 hours in advance of when you will ovulate.

Keep in mind, however, that there is no guaranteed way to determine your baby's gender. Even if you conceived from intercourse before you ovulate, you could still have a boy.

i've been reading that in order to conceive a girl should have sex 2 or 3 days before ovulation but ovulation is easy monitered if you have regular periods but mine are very irregular (every 2 or 3 months)

ttc no.3 have 2 sons would love a daughter, am taking magnesium and calcium supplements, but theres so much contradicting evidence with regards to timing, dont no what to believe?

you might want to look into the Shettles Method, which offers a way of trying to influence your baby's gender, but remember that no plan is 100 percent effective at choosing the sex of your baby.

Victoria, Holly is right, go to every other day from the last day of your period for a couple weeks. You can't miss ovulation that way if you have about a 30 day cycle.

Victoria, you might actually be having too much intercourse. If a man ejaculates often, he can deplete his sperm, making it less likely to conceive than if you time intercourse for every 2-3 days.

Some couples have fertility problems for no obvious reason, so after trying for a year, I think it's reasonable for you to try fertility medication like Clomid. Talk to your doctor about it or see another doctor if your's doesn't seem receptive to the idea.

You could also use ovulation predictors to help determine when you are ovulating so you can time intercourse for your most fertile days.

I have tried for lmost a year and still had no luck on any of this. I have had more disappointments than anyone i have ever known. Does anyone have any other tips or solutions that could help me more than anything? My doctors say that there is nothing wrong with me nor my husband, but still we cant conceive. We have intercourse everyday and sometimes 3 or 4 times a day. But still our hearts are empty because we want a child so bad no matter which one it would be. so please help us on some tips.

i am 26 followed the chinese lunar pregnancy calendar and also followed the Shettles method and i was able to conceive a girl that i wanted so very much in march of this year but i sadly lost her due to miscarriage at 17 weeks. i will be trying again for another girl in dec. hopefully my dream will come true. fingers crossed

This can be the most anguishing thing to go through when a lifelong dream eludes you. People need to better understand the pain some women experience. I myself was finally told (after three sons) that I would be having boy/girl twins only to find out in the delivery room that they were both all boys. I finally adopted. I've heard doctors comment, "girl" sperm are stronger, while "boy" sperm are faster, so the girls have more staying power... three days before ovulation tends to weed out the fast boys, and what you have left are the pool of "girly" sperm... so your chances may be greater! Good luck. We're on number 3.. we have two boys (7 and 3) Hoping for a girl this time, but that's mostly for the grandma's sanity... we're happy with whatever we get!
