Melissa,
the spotting that happened two weeks after your period was probably a sign of ovulation, so that was your most fertile time of the month. Is your period late? If not, wait until the day it's due to take a pregnancy test.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonIm not sure if i am pregnant yet but i have had some small signs... i was spotting about two weeks after my period, which i have never done before. for a few days after that i just felt pregnant. i have had some milky white vaginal discharge and i am more than usual tired.... but no nausia or morn sickness so i dont know??
-- Contributed by: melissaCass, how far apart, in days, was the second bleed from the first? If it was lighter and happened around day 14, it might be a sign of ovulation. Some women experience this even if it's not a normal occurence for them. When your next period is due, based on 28 days from the first bleed, take a pregnancy test just to be sure. The spotting could have been from implantation bleeding, but usually only if it happens well after ovulation.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonI am menstruating regularly but last month I had 2.first week and last week and now I dont know when to expect my next menstruation or if I am pregnant..My breasts are not sore but are hurting sometimes.tnx

is your cycle usually regular? Most women ovulate and conceive two weeks before their period is due, so having sex the day before you expect your period is unlikely to produce a pregnancy. Is there a chance that you had unprotected sex earlier in the month? That's when you might have been more likely to conceive.
Since your period is late, you should definitely take a pregnancy test.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansoni had sex the day before i was to start my period, my bf had an accident, and well now I am scared I am pregnant. I havent started my period yet and this almost 2 weeks later. what are you thoughts?

since you have some of the early signs of pregnancy and you're not really sure if you are having your period or not, you should take a pregnancy test then follow up with your doctor.

it is hard to say whether or not you could be pregnant. Many of the symptoms of pregnancy are the same as PMS. Once your period is due, you can take a pregnancy test. You might be pregnant, but you might also be looking too hard for signs.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonMy period is due next week I haven't missed it yet I am moody and have extremely sore breasts which feel heavy and little bumps on them, I had a miscarriage couple months back and didn't know I was pregnant but this time I feel like I already know(sounds weird), could it be that it's wishful thinking, my period coming on or a real pregnancy? And what's weird too is that I don't suffer with severe PMS just the usual cramps so any ideas would be appreciated ladies, thanks

since you ovulated on 2/26, it is too early to take a pregnancy test and expect accurate results. Most women can get a positive pregnancy test two weeks after they conceive, which would be March 12 for you. The First Response Early Result Pregnancy Test is accurate as early as four days before your period is due, but that will still put you at this Sunday at the earliest.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonI have been trying to conceive. I am experiencing cramping but no breast tenderness. a little stomach upset in the early mornings. I have little pimple like bumps on breast. I tried a pregnancy test today but it was negative. 228 was my ovulation day is it to soon to tell. my doc said to try a home test on the 26th day of my cycle. I think i added right
-- Contributed by: MelindaAmanda, the signs are so different in everyone. Some women might experience thirst, but it's not a definite sign. This early on, you are probably about a week out from a possible conception date, which is too early for most women to notice any signs. You could be the exception, of course, so you should plan to take a home pregnancy tet when your period is due.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansoni am due on my period in about 7 - 8 days had sex on my ovulated days. would they been signs of pregnancy already because for last week or 2 i have been so firsty all time and cant stop drinking is that a sign?
-- Contributed by: amanda gillJanissa, with your period on 1/12, you probably ovulated on January 24 if you have a regular cycle. Since you had sex at the right time, there's a good chance you conceived but you will need to wait a few more weeks before you get a valid test result.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonI had my last cycle on January 12th. I had sex on the 23rd and 26th. What are my chances of conceiving?
-- Contributed by: JanissaMalinda, since your period was 12/26, you likely would have ovulated around January 9, assuming you have a regular cycle. Although that would have been your most fertile time, it is possible to ovulate early. Since you have some symptoms, you should definitely take a pregnancy test when your next period is due.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansoni had got my period on the 26th of dec, and it ended around the 30th i had intercourse on the 2nd without a condom and i had spottin on the 5th of jan, and a couple days later it followed with cramps... abd my body just feels different.. ssooo if some one can help me and let me know what theu think.. email me back
-- Contributed by: malindaTaylor, since some of the symptoms of pregnancy are also related to PMS, it's easy to confuse the two. For most women, symptoms don't start for a few weeks after conception, usually around the same time you get a positive result on a pregnancy test, but other women claim to know within days of conceiving.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonhow long does it take to feel ANY symptoms? we've been trying forever and now I'm not sure if I'm just looking too hard for things. Tried every day last week during fertile window and it's too early to test, but I've been feeling nauseus, and more irritable... am I reaching?
-- Contributed by: Taylorthanks but the weird thing here is am not really stressing or thinking about it. i just say "well if i end up pregnant i do" but im not really thinking bout it.
-- Contributed by: staceyStacey, if you are stressed about getting pregnant and worrying about it a lot, it's no surprise that you had that dream. If you doubt the doctor's test, take another one at home. If it's still negative, try to relax more about it next month.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansoni had a dream that i took a pregnancy test and i was soooo exited then a doctor at the clinic said the result was negative, really dissapointed me. am wondering what this meant? i am trying to get pregnant this is my first month trying.
-- Contributed by: staceyCarrie, you named the possibility: it was probably just some Bleeding During Ovulation. Since you are right around the time of your ovulation, it's probably too early to be implantation bleeding
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonOur early pregnancy test showed no line (meaning not positive) then two days later it shows a faint line but very definately a line. Should we start buying baby clothes? LOL
-- Contributed by: Magwent to the bathroom and noticed pink floaty in toilet and when i wiped a little pinkish tinge. not close to my menstral cycle, but i think i just finished ovualtation cycle. trying to get pregnant. feeling a little crampy. what is this.

since your period is late, you should take a pregnancy test. It's not unusual for your period to be late after coming off the pill since your body has been used to the hormones you've been taking. If you have a negative pregnancy test, wait about a week and test again. If you still don't have your period or continue to have the symptoms you mention, give your doctor a call.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonNadja, although your breasts may swell during pregnancy, you shouldn't actually be lactating. If you went for three months without a period, then tested negative and got a period, I think you either had a miscarriage or weren't pregnant. Did you ever have a positive pregnancy test or visit a doctor?
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonMy stomach swelled and breast started lactating but 2 days ago I started a period with heavy flow. I experience movement but a home test indicated negative 2 weeks ago. Could I be over 3 months and still have a period?
-- Contributed by: NadjaHi, i have came off the pill on the 5th may 2008, and my period normally starts at 27th May 2008, my period is a very punctual (so is fixed) its now 13 days late. Im always tired, my breast are sore and painful for me or my partner to touch, and i constantly have a headache that wont seem to go away. And no matter what i do, whether i don't drink or that i always need to pee. Does this mean anything? Should i get it checked out?
-- Contributed by: AriesCM, the spotting you have two weeks after your period is probably an ovulation sign. That's the time you need to be extra careful not to conceive, assuming you don't want to.
Since your period was a week late when you tested, you are likely not pregnant. If you don't believe the test (or me), you should take another pregnancy test.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonI have a question about the possibility of me being pregnant. My period has been crazy for about the past 6 months (maybe longer, I just started keeping track of it) In dec. it was 12-13 days late, in Jan it was 1 day early, in Feb it was 12-13 days late which made it go into March. April was 1 day early. No in May it is 18 days late. Before every "late" period I had spotting about 2 weeks after my normal period ended and the spotting lated for about 4 days. My boyfirend and I have been using condoms and I took a pregnancy test about 2 weeks ago (1 week after my period was due) and it came out neg. What are the possibilities of me being pregnant?
-- Contributed by: CMNikki, how long have you been experiencing symptoms? Most women ovulate about two weeks before their period, so if your period is still two weeks ago you would just be ovulating now. That being said, if you ovulated early, you would still only be a few days pregnant at the most, which is usually too early to start having symptoms.
But, if your cycle is irregular it might be possible for you to be pregnant. You can take the First Response Early Result Pregnancy Test four days before your period is due, which is earlier than any other tests on the market.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonI just have a question my husband and I have been trying for 4 years to get pregnant. And I believe this time it might actually have worked. I have been experiencing some changes for the past 3 days. 1st of I have NEVER had a problem with constipation and for the past 3 days continuously I have. and I am also urinating every hour. I have a little nausea that hits me in waves throughout the day. I went to the doctor, because I thought I had a bladder infection, but I don't. I didn't even think that I might be pregnant. This would be our first so if this is a dumb question just let me know. It's still too early to test positive as I am about 2 weeks away from my next period. Does it seem like a possibility that I might be experiencing early signs?
-- Contributed by: NikkiBrittany, although tender breasts are a common symptoms of pregnancy, not all women will experience it. In fact, all the signs of pregnancy are individualized and not every symptom will happen to all women. Even something as common as morning sickness isn't experienced by everyone.
Have you taken a pregnancy test and gotten a positive result? If you did, you should stop taking your pills and see a doctor.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonhi i was wondering do your breast have to hurt. because i don't have any pain their. i just feel weird things in my stomach.like now it's a little pain on the left side now.i don't get sick or notthing. and i take birthcontrol to regulate my period but i forget to take them everyday so i take them every other day. but can the pain be a symptom...
-- Contributed by: BrittanyChelsie, I've heard of other women experiencing this while they were pregnant but I don't think there is anything you can do about it. Like everything else in pregnancy, it probably has to do with your hormones. The good news is that it may pass after the first trimester.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonMY SINCE OF SMELL IS HORRIBLE!! I CAN SMELL EVERYTHING..... AND IT ALL MAKES ME SICK!!!!!!!! WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH THIS???? by the time you start noticing symptoms of pregnancy, you should be able to get a postive result on a home pregnancy test, so I don't think you are pregnant. But, your doctor can administer a blood based test though they may require you to have a positive home test first.
-- Contributed by: HollySwansonI think I may be pregnant. I still have my period, but my stomach has grown and I swear I can feel something moving in my stomach. I have taken a home pregnancy test and it came out negative. I want to take a blood pregnancy test, but I'm not sure how to go about it. Do you have any suggestions?
