Meg, I'm not sure how they will handle your delivery if you have the flu. You're right to contact your doctor since he may be able to recommend treatment options. If you are vomiting a lot, you might need extra fluids or an IV to keep your electrolytes up.

I have...,

you should contact your doctor to find out if you do have the flu and get advice from them about what to eat and what medicines, if any, you can take. If you are severly ill, you will need to be monitored more closely.

Rachel, please contact your doctor. The nausea and diarrhea puts you at risk for dehydration. The fever might also be a sign of a different infection. This might simply be the flu and it will pass in a few days, but to be safe your doctor should be involved.

I'm 40 weeks today and just came down with a bad bad stomach ache and feeling like i need to puke all day. Now along with that I have the chills, fever and diarrhea. Contractions today have been few but very painful because my stomach hurts so bad. I can't eat anything. Is my son affected by this? Is he okay? How do I get better?
