Becky, according to the Chinese Lunar Pregnancy Calendar, a 29 year old would conceive a boy but a 30 year old would conceive a girl.

Even if you had intercourse on your birthday, it's possible you didn't conceive until the next day. But I think this is more technical than the chart should be read. You'll need to wait for an ultrasound to tell you for sure what you are carrying.

What if you conceived on your B-day. I was 29 turning 30. It was may 18th. if I was considered 29 I am having a boy and if I was considered 30 im having a girl. Is it 50/50 or most likely I'm having a girl?

JLA, if your birthday is February 7 (some people would read 2/7 as July 2), you go by 28 on the calendar. In that case you would conceive a boy between July and October.

according to the Chinese Lunar Pregnancy Calendar, you can expect to conceive a girl in June and July, but if you want to avoid late pregnancy in the winter you should wait until September to conceive.

After your next birthday, March is your best time to try for a girl. was still 26 earlier in the month, she conceived a girl. That's cutting it pretty close though and is being a lot more specific than I think the Chinese Birth Chart ever intended.

according to the Chinese Lunar Pregnancy Calendar, a 30 year old woman is most likely to conceive a boy November, December, and January, so now's your time. The calendar only provides specific months, not days, so you will want to follow your [[ ovulation to figure out the best days to try.

since you will 23 next week, your best chances to conceive a girl will occur next June, August, and December according to the Chinese Lunar Pregnancy Calendar.

You should talk to your doctor, though, before trying to conceive in the months after having a baby. Many OB/Gyns like women to wait at least a year before conceiving to give their body a chance to heal and your cycle to become regular again.

Hi Victoria, according to the Chinese Lunar Pregnancy Calendar, your last shot at conceiving a girl before the new year is this month, October. Then, you'll be likely to conceive a boy until February when you will be able to conceive a girl.

Keep in mind though that this is just a theory. Who's to say you couldn't conceive a girl next month? For the record, the calendar is wrong for me. I have a boy but it says I should have conceived a girl.

Jena, have you actively been trying for six months? Many women don't get pregnant the first few times they try. It can take up to a year before you conceive. Try reading the LoveToKnow Pregnancy articles about Trying to Conceive and Tips on Getting Pregnant

Hi Neha, you will want to consider what month a baby was conceived in and look for that month on the chart. If a woman is 2 months pregnant now, she should look at June for her conception date.

Hi jasmine can you tell me how are you calculating the pregnancy with the Chinese Lunar calendar. I don't know whether to consider 9 months or ten months to see if it is correct? Because baby can be earlier or later then expected time from the due date.

Hi Jasmine, the chart isn't an exact science, so it's hard to say what would happen if a woman conceived on the last day of the month. We can never know for sure the exact time of conception. It could be before or after midnight depending on the time of intercourse.

Sperm can live for 24-48 hours and you could conceive anytime during that period. In this case, it's anybody's guess which month conception fell in. An ultrasound can tell the sex for sure.

I have used this chart on aprrox. 50 people and it has only been wrong twice!! It worked for me as well! I was just wondering if a person got pregnant on the last day of a month and it said girl for that month would they have a girl for sure, if the next month(the day after) said boy?? i.e. July - girl August - boy conceived on July 31st

I would just like to know if that one day makes a difference or not??? Please answer my question and write me back. Thanks.
