only your doctor can tell you for sure which pill is right for you based on your medical history. Although all pills have about the same rate of effectiveness for preventing pregnancy, some can also shorten your cycle or help with things like acne and PMS.

This is the first time I have been interested in the pill. I am 17 and I have been with my boyfriend for 2 years. Which pill would be better for me to take? I am really unsure of which one to take, so it would be greatly appreciated if someone helped me. Thank you.

Sissy, most pills do carry the risk of weight gain as one of their side effects, but a newew pill, Yaz, might be best if you want to avoid the bloating and water retention that many women experience.

I know birth control pills tend to make you gain weight, both on ur body and bust. Which one's do this; Aviane? The bust i could deal with but not the body.
