LoveToKnow Pregnancy writer/editor Dana Hinders feels quite fortunate that her own pregnancy was relatively uneventful. While she did suffer from horrible morning sickness and an insatiable craving for bananas, her 7 lb. 7 oz. baby boy was delivered one day after her due date with no complications. However, she has no desire to relive the painful experience of labor anytime in the near future!

After her son was born in November 2004, Dana discovered that freelance writing allowed her to more effectively balance her work and family responsibilities. She now spends her days writing, editing, researching, watching Sesame Street, playing with Fisher-Price Little People, and reading the complete works of Dr. Seuss.

Dana specializes in creating web content for effective search engine optimization. She has written informational articles, sales copy, product descriptions, blogs, e-books, and e-courses for a variety of clients. She earned her BA in journalism and mass communication from The University of Iowa in May 2003.
