When Things Go Wrong
When you are pregnant, you don't want to think about anything going wrong, but sometimes they do. In the case of this little girl, she is a twin who had problems keeping her formula down. Since she was losing weight and jaundice, she spent her first few days in the NICU while her mom and brother went home.
With babies this small and smaller—right at five pounds at birth—the medical staff measures their intake not in ounces but in cc's. The family had a party when she got to the point of keeping down 4 cc's at feeding. That is less than a teaspoon.

i know wat it is like to have your baby in the nicu mine was in there and it is not a easy thing to deal with.
