It used to be that when you bought maternity underwear, you had very few choices. Color choices were white or beige. Sizes were big and really big. Feeling beautiful was not even a consideration; in fact, it was looked down on. Today, thankfully, you have many styles to choose from and basic briefs are just the beginning. You can now select maternity underwear in boy cut briefs, bikinis, and even thongs! Color choices have improved also beyond white and beige to include pink, black, and leopard prints. Now, you can be pregnant and still be your self with your own style instead of your grandmother's.

Several stores carry maternity underwear today. JC Penney, for example, carries the basics. Maternity bikinis in a 3-pack are $21. A package of two microfiber briefs or thongs is only $15 and comes in pink and blue or white.
Motherhood Maternity has a nice selection for you to choose from. Fashion panties in solid colors or pretty patterns come in a package of three for only $12.98. Solid cotton bikinis come in stripes, solids, and various patterns. Prices range from $9.98 for a 3-pack to $13.50 for a 4-pack in so many colors and patterns you won't know which to choose.
