Last summer, fans started asking, "is Heidi Klum pregnant again?" And rightfully they should have wondered. On Nov. 22, the German supermodel, married to singer Seal, gave birth to her third child in less than three years -- a son they named Johan Riley Fyodor Taiwo Samuel.
Heidi Klum: Pregnant History Overview
At 33, Klum has achieved more in her life than most people dream -- supermodel, celebrity status and her own reality television show, Project Runway. She also designs her own line of clothing and swimsuits, has produced her own fragrance, "Heidi," and has lent her celebrity to jewelry designer Mouawad. But her crowning glories are her children:
- Daughter, Helene "Leni" Klum - with former boyfriend, Italian Formula 1 manager Flavio Briatore. She was born May 4, 2004.
- Son, Henry Guenther Ademola Dashtu Samuel, who was born Sept. 5, 2005.
- Son, Johan Riley Fyodor Taiwo Samuel, who was Nov. 22, 2006.
Working off the Baby Fat
After Klum delivered her first son in 2005, she quickly got back into supermodel shape with diet and exercise. Within three months, she strutted her way down the Victoria's Secret runway. But will her fans see her shed that extra baby weight that quickly this time? Well, thanks to the Ultimate New York Diet, Klum has yet again dropped all of her baby weight within a month of delivering. Her personal trainer, David Kirsch, reported that the diet is not about how much one eats, but what is eaten. This detox diet focuses on eating salads, eggs, fish and chicken. Most carbohydrates are forbidden except beans and lentils.
Started Spreading the News
On the day Klum gave birth to her son, Seal posted his ode to Johan Riley on his website. Among some beautiful sentiments, he said the baby looks just like his mother.
Three's Not a Crowd
While the news that Heidi Klum was pregnant came as to surprise to most, her desire to have more children is not that uncommon anymore among some celebrities.
- Roberts, mom to 2-year-old twins, has announced she's pregnant and due this summer.;
- Thanks to adoption, Madonna is now the proud mama to three children, two of whom are hers biologically.
- Angelina Jolie, along with Brad Pitt, adopted two children and gave birth last year to a little boy.
- Brooke Burke gave birth in January 2007 to her third daughter.
